Turned out I was cleaning my regs way too often.
I used to break down my regulator every month and scrub everything with soap, then a dive shop guy told me I was wearing out the o-rings. Switched to just rinsing and a light soak once a season, and my last service bill dropped by $80.

Good advice. I stick to a thorough rinse after every dive and only tear it down once a year for a proper cleaning and lube.

Yeah once a year is solid, I do the same thing plus check orings after every 100 dives.
