Unpopular opinion: hand jetting beats the blaster on 90% of dock piling jobs

Ran a 36 inch blaster for 8 years in Seattle and switched to a hand jet after watching a guy in Anacortes clean a piling in half the time with way less silt cloud. Anyone else ditch the blaster or am I crazy here?
