Chose the dirty train over the bus this morning
I had to pick between a packed bus that takes 20 minutes or a slightly grimy train that gets me there in 12. I went with the train and got a seat next to a guy eating an entire bag of carrots. Has anyone else had to pick the lesser of two commute evils?

Honestly, that carrot guy sounds way less annoying than being packed in like a sardine for an extra 8 minutes though, right? I've been there with the whole "which option sucks less" game and it's always a gamble. Last week I picked the train over the bus because it had heat, but then the dude next to me smelled like old milk. You made the right call for speed, just carry some earbuds next time to block out the crunching.

Wait, the train had heat? I thought it was the bus that had working heat on that route, but maybe I'm mixing up the lines lol. Either way yeah, earbuds are basically a survival item for public transit at this point.
