Hold on, backwards for two whole years? I mean, did the bike fall off? Did it mess up the rack? If it was staying on there okay, maybe it's not that huge of a deal. Sure, you might have looked a little silly, but the bus driver probably didn't even notice. As long as you weren't blocking anyone's view or scratching up the paint, I'd say you're fine.

Backwards for 2 years and still on the bus is honestly kind of a flex. Makes you wonder if anyone else has been doing it wrong the whole time too.

Bet the bike rack didn't even care. Those things are built tougher than people think. Probably looked weirder than it actually caused any problems.
