Missed my exit because of a duck family crossing the highway

The ducks probably had more right to be on the highway than half the drivers I see on a daily basis. At least they had a plan and a destination, not just aimlessly wandering in the left lane with their blinker on. What I want to know is if the duck parents at least had the decency to look apologetic about holding up traffic or if they just waddled off like they owned the place.

Totally agree with you @grace_campbell, those ducks were probably the most organized commuters out there. I once saw a whole family of geese just marching across a busy intersection like they were leading a parade, not a single one of them looked back or even blinked. People in cars were honking but the geese just kept going, zero shame, total confidence. Honestly I'd rather share the road with them than half the drivers who can't even figure out a four way stop.
