Shoutout to the guy who drives with his blinker on for 3 miles

I take the same route every morning down Highway 99 and there's this one guy in a silver Civic who signals left for about 3 exits before he actually turns. I started noticing it back in February and now I can't unsee it. At first I thought he was just being cautious but now I'm pretty sure he either forgets his blinker is on or he's trolling everyone behind him. It actually made me realize how much I appreciate someone who signals properly even if it's way too early. The weird thing is I've seen him do this for months and I've never seen him actually merge without the blinker going. It's become like a little game for me trying to guess which exit he'll finally take. Has anyone else got a regular driver on their commute that does some consistently weird thing?

Oh man, that's actually hilarious. I gotta say though, I think you might be giving this guy too much credit. A blinker on for three miles isn't cautious, that's just careless. He probably put it on the first time he thought about turning and then forgot about it. I know a guy who drives his Ford F-150 with his high beams on all the time, even on well-lit streets. I swear he's just forgotten they're on for like the last five years. Same thing with your Civic guy, just habit at this point without any real thought behind it.

Man I've dealt with that exact thing before, just pull over for a second and flip the switch to reset it, fixes most of these issues. You ever try that?
