Shoutout to the woman on the 7:15 Amtrak out of Providence who reads real books
I take the 7:15 from Providence to Boston four days a week and I noticed this woman about 3 months ago. She picks a different paperback every week from the little free library cart at the station and she's already halfway through it by Back Bay. This morning she was on page 210 of a beat up copy of East of Eden and I realized I've been staring at my phone the whole ride while she's living a whole better life. Has anyone else noticed people who read real books on their commute, or am I just paying attention now?
