Showerthought: My drive is full of electric cars now
Maybe it's just me, but I spot them every day. It's a small thing, but it feels good for the environment.

Hold up, your whole drive is full of them? That's wild, I only see a couple on my street. Where is everyone even plugging in, did the whole neighborhood get chargers overnight? It feels like just last year they were rare. Does your power bill look crazy now with all that charging?

Right? It's like a switch flipped. Our block has five houses with EVs now, and yeah, the power company sent a letter about peak hours. Do you get those time-of-use rates too, where it's cheaper to charge after 9pm?

Wait, your whole street has five houses with EVs? That's nuts, wesley_adams is right about the charger thing, where did they all come from? My neighbor just got one and his power bill jumped like a hundred bucks last month.
