Every single morning for five days straight, the conductor announced 'on schedule' over the crackly speaker, and I actually got to my desk with a full coffee. Has a weirdly perfect commute week ever happened to anyone else?

A full coffee at my desk sounds like a fantasy, my thermos usually gives up halfway to the station.

Wait, you're putting hot coffee in a thermos, right? Those things are built to keep heat in. If it's cold halfway to work, the seal might be broken. Have you checked the lid? My old one did that, liquid would get in the rubber ring and ruin it. A good thermos should keep it steaming for hours, easy.
