That premium parking app cost me $45 in hidden fees last week

I signed up for that ParkEase app thinking it would save me time finding a spot near my office downtown. Turns out they tack on a $6.50 'convenience fee' every single time you extend your parking by even 5 minutes. Ended up paying $45 for what should have been a $20 day of parking near 5th and Main. Anyone else get burned by those extra charges?

I used to think those "convenience fees" were just whining about a buck or two. But $6.50 every time you extend? That's straight up robbery, not a fee. I downloaded the same app last month and caught it adding $13 to my tab before I even finished parking. Uninstalled it right there and went back to feeding meters. Those sneaky charges add up way too fast.
