The bus driver on the 7:40 in Spokane called me a name I can't shake off
I ride the 7:40 into downtown Spokane five days a week and usually keep my headphones in the whole trip, but Monday my phone died so I actually looked up and started chatting with the driver at a red light. He mentioned he's been on this route for 11 years and knows almost every regular by their stop, then he looked at me and laughed and asked why I always get off two blocks early just to dodge one guy who talks too much. I laughed it off in the moment, but now I'm wondering, is this a normal thing drivers notice, and has anyone else found out their commute has a whole audience watching it?
