Had a client's cat try to help me fix a motherboard
I was working on a gaming PC in a home office in Cincinnati, trying to reseat a RAM stick. The client's big orange cat jumped on the desk, walked right over the board, and its static-y fur made the whole system reboot. I had to unplug everything and start the POST check from scratch, which added like 45 minutes to the job. The cat just sat there purring the whole time, like it did me a favor. Anyone else have pets that 'assist' with your repairs in the worst way?

That cat is a furry little quality control tester. It just performed a mandatory system reset to check your work. The purring was its invoice.

How do you stop the invoice from getting bigger, @coleman.gray? I just keep a second keyboard on my desk for the cat to sit on.

What's the cat's hourly rate, @coleman.gray?
