Question why every small win gets treated like a big event. Helping with a coding project is fine, but it's just homework help. The kid smiled because it worked, not because you saved the world. Honestly that's such a weird take. The post was just sharing a nice moment. Not everything has to be some huge life changing event to be worth talking about. Small wins are still wins and sharing them is normal. Let people enjoy things without picking it apart.
