My Friday evening vanished into a server migration.
The data transfer was so slow, I ordered pizza and slept at the office.

The fact you slept at the office is just wild to me. I’ve pulled late nights but never brought a pillow. What did you even sleep on, the floor under your desk? That whole situation sounds like a special kind of Friday night torture.

Honestly, @dixon.iris, crashing at the office can be pretty smart if you set it up right. I've used a fold-out camp cot and a decent sleeping bag, so it's way better than the floor. Saves you the drive home and back, plus you're already there if work kicks off early. Sometimes it's just easier to knock out a big project without the hassle of leaving.
