Stop pushing thermal paste reapplication on every used CPU

I see it all the time in this sub, people telling folks to redo paste on a 3 year old system just because they opened the case. I ran a shop in Austin for 5 years and unless temps actually spiked, that factory paste was fine, leave it alone. Has anyone else wasted 30 minutes on a job that didn't need it?

Paste dries out and shifts over three years, so fresh stuff guarantees better contact even if temps look okay.
