Bonding agent vs plain water on that cold pour last month
Honestly I used to think bonding agents were a waste unless you had a major break. Then we had a 12 degree morning in Denver and I did a thin overlay with just water on one section and the agent on another. The water section peeled right up when I came back with the trowel, flaking off in chunks. The agent section held solid and I had to work it hard to get an edge. Tbh that cost me an extra trip and about 3 hours of rework. Now I keep a gallon of the stuff in the truck no matter the forecast. Has anyone else seen a big difference on cold pours or was it just my mix being too dry that day?
