Just had a slab turn to soup on me in a Denver backyard

It was a 20x15 patio pour, 80 degrees, and the truck showed up an hour late with the mix already hot. Started bull floating and the whole thing just bled out, looked like a mud puddle. What's your go-to move when the mix is too wet and the clock is ticking?

My buddy in Phoenix lost a whole driveway to that last July.

That's wild, @harper_foster. It feels like stuff is just breaking down faster now, you know? Not just big things like driveways, but even plastic garden chairs get brittle and snap after one summer in the sun. Makes you wonder what else isn't built for the weather we're actually getting.

Read that Phoenix heat can buckle concrete, @harper_foster.
