My pouring buddy never shows up on time and it's wrecking our slabs
I've got this guy on my team who thinks start times are just a suggestion. We had a foundation pour yesterday set for 6 AM, and he strolled in at 6:45. The truck was already here, so we had to rush the placement and skip some vital vibration steps. Now there's honeycombing in the corners, and the inspector flagged it. The foreman just shrugs and says meet the schedule, but this is how bad rep gets started. I'm seriously considering jumping to a new outfit that values the work. It's tough when one person's lazy morning ruins a whole crew's effort.

Ugh, late arrivals once made us redo a whole slab because the mix set up wrong!

Yeah, late to a pour once and my great plan to speed things up just made it worse. Sometimes I wonder how I still have this job.
