Saw a parking deck in Atlanta last week with a terrible broom finish

Whoever did that job must have been running a dry mix and waited way too long to broom it. Looked like a gravel road instead of concrete. Anyone else see bad finishes on big commercial jobs?

Oh man, that "looked like a gravel road" description is spot on. I saw a similar mess on a new shopping center here last year where the broom finish was so deep and uneven it actually held water puddles after a rain. Felt like you'd lose a shoe if you walked on it. Some crews just don't care about the timing, think they can walk away and come back.
