Showerthought: a 1/4 inch lip on a garage slab cost me 5 hours and I still feel dumb about it
Spent all of last Saturday chasing a 1/4 inch step on a 24x24 garage pour in Fresno because I didn't check the form height before the truck showed up, and by the time I got it flat the mix was already stiff. Now I walk the forms with a laser before anyone touches a screed, but has anyone found a faster way to fix a lip once the mud is already down?
