Spent $65 on a magnetic broom for the shop floor and it finally got me off my knees
I have been fighting with the floor in my garage for months, sweeping up leftover cement dust and bits of wire, and my back was starting to complain about it every single night. So I grabbed one of those magnetic sweepers on sale for $65 at the supply house down on 4th, mostly figuring it was a gimmick and I would end up returning it. Turns out the thing picks up nails, staples, and all the metal junk I could never get with a regular broom, and it does it in one pass. I did a 20 by 30 slab tearout last Saturday and had the floor clean enough to walk barefoot in about 10 minutes instead of the half hour I usually spend hunched over. Not saying it is magic, but my knees sure are happy about it. Anyone else have one of these and figure out a good way to knock the filings off the magnet without making a mess?
