Stamped concrete sealer turned orange after 2 weeks in the sun

I put down a solvent-based sealer on a driveway in Austin back in March, and by day 14 the whole thing had this weird orange tint. I found out from the manufacturer's tech sheet that UV exposure breaks down certain acrylics way faster than I thought, especially if you lay it on thick. The guy at the supply house said I should've used a water-based sealer with UV blockers for this climate, and now I'm looking at stripping it all off this weekend. Has anyone else had a sealer shift colors on them, and did you find a fix that didn't cost a fortune?
