That $80 power trowel blade from Amazon was a total waste

Bought a 36-inch combo blade off Amazon for a 800 sq ft garage floor I was finishing last week. Figured it would save me time over hand floating after the bull float pass. Thing wobbled like crazy on my edger even after double checking the mount and it left these little ridges I had to grind down. Cost me an extra 3 hours of work plus the $80. Anyone else had bad luck with those knockoff blades or am I just picking the wrong ones?

Yeah, you probably grabbed a 36 inch blade for an edger that's meant for a power trowel, not the other way around.

Did you end up throwing the blade on anyway to see if it would work at all? I did something similar with a concrete saw once, just ran it slower than normal and it actually got the job done.

Oh man, reminds me of that time I bought a cheap torque wrench that was off by 20 foot-pounds.
