Thought those fancy magnesium floats were just hype.

Borrowed one on a job in Phoenix last month. The finish on that 40 yard slab was way smoother with half the effort. Anyone else switch tools and get surprised?

Ever think about how the local weather changes what works best? That dry Phoenix heat probably let the magnesium glide way different than it would on a humid day back home. Makes you wonder if the real trick is matching the tool to the climate, not just the job.

You ever try to use a chalk line in the rain? Total waste of time. Humidity absolutely wrecks some materials, makes others stick like glue. Learned real quick to keep different stuff in the truck for desert runs vs coastal hauls. It's not just about the tool, it's about how the air feels that day.

Exactly, @rileym96. Climate dictates the gear.
