TIL a squirrel can ruin a 40-yard pour in about 30 seconds

Had a perfect finish on a driveway in Springfield, turned my back for one minute, and a squirrel ran straight across it leaving tiny footprints everywhere. Anyone ever had an animal mess up your work right before it set?

Oh man, that's brutal! I once spent an hour detailing my car, only for a flock of birds to treat it like a target right after. Nature has a real sense of humor about our hard work. Those tiny squirrel prints must have been so maddening to see.

Yeah, those little prints are the worst. @the_emery is right about nature's timing. My crew keeps a cheap roll of plastic fence around for exactly this, just to buy a few minutes.
