DAE feel like some conspiracy debates are shut down too fast?
I was reading comments online about a common theory yesterday. It struck me that people who bring up points against the norm get mocked right away. Do you think we lose good arguments by not listening?

Yeah flat earth stuff is total nonsense, but Ellis.cole is right about finding that one good point in the weirdest places. I got shouted down once for asking a simple question and later found out it was actually a valid hole in the usual story.

Ever notice how the guy with the wild theory is usually me getting laughed out of the room? But honestly, a few of my craziest guesses had a tiny nugget of truth. We probably do miss some decent points by dismissing the whole package too fast.
