Finally got my uncle to see the flat earth thing is nonsense
For about two years, he kept sending me videos about Antarctica being a giant ice wall. Last month, I sat him down and showed him a simple video of a ship disappearing over the horizon, bottom first. He went quiet for a week. Yesterday, he admitted he looked up how ship hulls work and said 'maybe I was wrong about that one.' Has anyone else had a small win with a family member on a specific theory?

My cousin was deep into the 5G mind control stuff during the pandemic. I found an old article from 2019, before anyone knew about COVID, where people were protesting 5G towers in Hawaii for the same wild reasons. Printed it out and left it on his kitchen table. He never brought up 5G again after that, though he's moved on to complaining about chemtrails instead. It feels like you can only fix one idea at a time with some people.
