Got a 9 minute video debunked at the UFO conference in Roswell

Last month I drove 3 hours to the Roswell UFO festival for the panel on crash retrievals. Some guy showed a blurry 9 minute video of a disc hovering over a ranch, and I actually track the flight logs. Turned out it was a drone with a Chinese lantern attached, I pulled up the FAA data on my phone right there. The whole room went quiet and even the moderator asked me to explain it again. Has anyone else actually fact-checked a speaker's evidence live instead of just arguing about it afterwards?

That 9 minute video got more airtime than it deserved. I've sat through enough of these panels to know most "evidence" falls apart within five minutes of checking. Good on you for pulling the FAA data, that's the kind of thing more people should do. The moderator asking you to repeat it just shows how often these claims go unchecked. Probably killed the vibe for the true believers in the room, but that's fine. Facts don't care about the festival crowd.
