I dropped $300 on a 'truth' documentary pack that was just recycled YouTube clips
For years I was deep into the whole 'ancient aliens built the pyramids' thing (you know, the usual). I saw an ad for a 'complete evidence bundle' with 'never before seen footage' and paid $300 for it. The whole thing arrived on a hard drive, and after watching for two hours, I recognized every single clip from free YouTube channels I already followed. The 'new' stuff was just the same old crop circle footage with a different narrator. What really got me was the 'expert interviews' were just voiceovers from a guy in his basement, not actual archaeologists. I felt like a total sucker. Has anyone else been burned by these paid 'evidence' packs that promise exclusive content but deliver nothing new?

I bought a similar pack for $250 and it was the same old stuff. That purchase was what finally made me question the whole scene.
