Just realized my "15 minute" software update took 4 hours to finish

I needed to fix a bug in my photo editing app before a client deadline, so I clicked update thinking it'd be quick. It got stuck at 87% for 3 hours and then forced a full system restart that ate another hour. How do companies get away with calling that a minor patch?

You been to the DMV lately @drewgonzalez? That place is a nightmare now. You need to book an appointment three weeks out just to get a license renewal. Then you show up and the system is down. Traffic lights too, yeah. I sat through five cycles at an intersection last week because the sensor was dead. Nothing works like it used to. It's like they're actively making things worse on purpose.
