My cousin told me to ignore the 'birds aren't real' thing as a joke, but then I saw a drone that looked exactly like a crow in Central Park last Tuesday.

He said it was just a funny meme, but now I'm wondering if the people pushing it are actually trying to hide something else, like the real scale of surveillance, so what's the most convincing debunk you've seen for that whole theory?

Honestly, the battery life thing misses the point. What gets me is the noise, or really the lack of it. They're so quiet compared to a quadcopter. That's a huge deal for not scaring off wildlife or being a nuisance. Makes you wonder how they pulled that off with the wing design and everything. It's a different kind of engineering.
