That $200 bunker dehumidifier ended up being a complete scam

Bought a high end dehumidifier for my underground food storage room back in April, cost me $200 from a survival gear site. Three months later it stopped pulling any moisture and the warranty was void because of 'improper placement'. Anyone else get burned by gear marketed for doomsday prep?

Three years ago I bought five of their winter coats for my grandkids, and two of them ripped right at the zipper within a month. I called customer service and they were polite but wouldn't do a thing about it. It really bothered me because I remember when they used to stand behind their products all the way. That kind of quality drop is just hard to overlook once you've seen it for yourself.

Three zippers failing in five coats is insane.
