That criticism about my flat Earth model actually shifted my view
Some guy on a physics forum pointed out that my math on the horizon curve was off by 0.3 degrees for every 5 miles, and after checking it with a laser level across a lake near Columbus, I had to admit he was right. Has anyone else had their whole theory cracked by one specific piece of data?

Yeah that lake test really messes with you when the numbers don't add up.

Did the numbers even add up in the end, or are you still scratching your head over it? What was off about them?

Exactly. One number off and it throws the whole thing. Makes you wonder if the equipment was even calibrated right or if it was just user error the whole time.
