That random file I deleted thinking it was junk took 3 days to rebuild
I accidentally trashed a config file I thought was leftover garbage, and it took me 72 hours to piece back together what it did from old backups and forum posts. Anyone else ever nuke a tiny file that turns out to be the backbone of your whole workflow?

Wait, isn't that more on you for not having proper backups though?

Oh man, tell me about it! I once lost a whole month of photos because my cloud storage ran out.

Yeah and honestly it's totally on me too, but I still get mad at myself every time I think about it. I backed up my phone to my computer one time, but then my hard drive died literally two days later. Lost like three years of photos, including a bunch from when my daughter took her first steps and all that stuff. The cloud thing is just so easy to forget about until it's too late, you know? I keep telling myself I'll set up a better system but then life gets in the way and here I am again.
