But the timeline gets muddy because the cable also notes that the Cuban embassy staff denied ever seeing Oswald, and the Warren Commission just sort of ignored that contradiction to push the lone gunman idea. I think what changed my mind is realizing how much the CIA was playing both sides, with that "dispatcher" being a CIA asset who could have easily been feeding false info to muddy the waters.
