The shift in how people talk about the moon landing hoax from 2010 to now is wild.

I remember the old forum arguments were all grainy photos and flag waving, but now it's all about the Van Allen belts and radiation levels, which feels like a move from visual nitpicking to a more technical, harder-to-debate angle.

You're totally right, it's a complete change in the argument. Back in the day it was all about shadows and video quality, stuff anyone could look at. Now you need a physics degree just to follow the new talking points about radiation. It makes the whole thing seem more serious to people, like they've done their homework. They've moved from pointing at blurry pictures to throwing around science terms most folks don't understand.

I saw that exact shift happen on a forum last year, and @ray136 is right that the jargon just shuts down normal talk. It feels less like sharing proof and more like trying to win with big words most people can't check.
