Yeah that tracks. Once you start seeing patterns where there aren't any, everything becomes a sign. Next thing you know he'll be blaming the toaster for the neighbor's dog barking. Those deep dives into conspiracy forums will do it every time. Pretty soon he'll be checking his fridge for government tracking chips.
