Last month I ran a 40 ton excavator through a scale in Ohio and found the rear axle was over by 2,300 lbs even though the total rig weight was legal. The manual said to center the machine over the trailer, but shifting it 10 inches forward fixed the split completely. Anyone else had this sneaky axle issue on larger loads?
Man, this reminds me of how everything in life is about balance and one little shift changes the whole picture. Good catch on that 10 inches, those small adjustments make a huge difference.
