Can we talk about ratchet strapping through the rim vs over the tire on a mini excavator?
Hauled a 10,000 lb mini ex from Fort Worth to Waco last Tuesday and tried strapping through the rim for the first time instead of over the tire like I always did, and now I can't decide which way is actually safer, so what's your go to and why?

Man, this takes me back to when I helped my uncle move his old Bobcat and we argued for like an hour about the same thing. He swore by going through the rim because the strap can't slip off, but then the rim got a little tweaked and he was mad about it for weeks. These days I just do over the tire on the rear and through the rim up front, seems to work fine.
