Dispatcher said "we'd rather pay the fine than fix the ramp" and that stuck with me
I was dropping a mini excavator in Waco last Tuesday and the guy on the radio said they run overweight on purpose because the permit fine is cheaper than renting a second truck. Made me think about how many loads I've said yes to without asking what the axle weights actually come out to. How do you all handle it when the customer pushes back on splitting a load?

That dispatcher's comment hits hard, makes you think about every load you've hauled.
