Pro tip: I quit chaining everything down and started using one long strap per machine
For years I ran 4 separate ratchet straps per piece of equipment, one per corner, because that's how the old guy at the yard in Akron showed me back in 2016. Then a loader operator watched me fight 8 straps in the rain at a job site off Route 8 and told me to run one continuous strap over the top through both D rings instead. Cut my tie down time from about 25 minutes to 9, and the load hasn't shifted once in 6 months of hauling minis and skid steers. I know the 4 corner thing is what everyone swears by, but I'm not going back to it. Anyone else running single strap setups or am I the odd one out here?
