Found out our BIM model costs us 12 hours a week in rework

Ran the numbers on a 3-month project in Austin and our field crew was redoing clashes that the model should've caught from day one. Turns out the subs were working off an outdated IFC export because the coordinator only synced the cloud model once a week. Some folks say the software is the problem, others say it's the workflow around it. Anyone else tracking their rework hours like this, or are we just the only ones dumb enough to dig into the data?
