I finally figured out why my daily reports were taking so long
For months, I was typing everything into our project management software by hand, which took over an hour each afternoon. Then I saw a super on another site just talk into his phone for five minutes and have a full report. He was using the speech-to-text feature in our app the whole time. I felt like an idiot for not trying it sooner. Has anyone else found a simple tech trick that saved them a ton of time?

Oh man, the speech to text thing is a game changer. I was doing the same thing with my meeting notes, typing them all out after the fact. Then I just started recording the audio on my laptop and letting the transcription software do the work. I just clean it up a little after. It cut my note taking time in half. What other little tricks are people using?

Try using a voice memo app on your phone for quick thoughts. I just talk into it while walking and get a decent text draft later. What software do you use for cleaning up the transcripts?
