Just realized our drone data is feeding bad schedule calls
I had a sit down with a field engineer in Houston yesterday after our weekly sync. He pointed out that the progress photos we're flying every Friday don't match what's actually happening on the interior finishes. Said we're updating the master schedule based on what the drone sees from above, but the real bottleneck is MEP rough-in behind drywall. That hit me because we paid $18k for a mapping subscription and we're still missing the ground truth. Has anyone else found that photogrammetry gives you a false sense of certainty on phased buildouts? We're thinking of pairing it with daily walkthrough logs now.
