Saw a crew using drones for site checks on a project in Austin
I was driving past a new apartment build in Austin last week and saw a drone flying over the site. The foreman told me they use it twice a day for progress photos and to check material stockpiles. He said it cut their morning walk-around time by over an hour. Has anyone else tried using drones just for daily checks like that?

An hour saved on a walk-around is actually insane. That's a whole extra coffee break, every single day.

Remember my buddy who used to do those long walk arounds at the warehouse? He started grouping his checks differently and saved like 45 minutes. He didn't even get extra coffee, he just sat in his car and listened to a whole podcast episode before his shift. Said it completely changed his morning mood. That little bit of quiet time made the whole job feel less rushed. Makes you realize how those small chunks of time really add up.

Yeah, just batch similar tasks together.
