Spent 6 months flagging my submittal reviews wrong in Procore

Was at a job site in Austin last spring and the superintendent walks over while I'm marking up a structural steel submittal. He squints at my screen and goes 'why are you rejecting stuff that's clearly per spec?' Turns out I was clicking the wrong status button the whole time - I was hitting 'Revise and Resubmit' every time I had a comment instead of using the 'Approved as Noted' option. Made my vendors hate me for no reason. Anybody else realize they've been using a core feature backwards for months?

Wait, so for 6 months every single comment you had meant the whole submittal had to come back? Did you actually check with your vendors when they started pushing back, or did you just think they were being difficult? I'm asking because that's the kind of thing that kills trust on a project, and it sounds like nobody caught it until the super happened to look over your shoulder. How many submittals do you think you sent back that way, and have you even apologized to the steel guys? Because that's the part that'd eat at me, knowing they were redoing stamps and paperwork for no reason.
