Subcontractor feedback on my drone flight paths made me rethink daily progress pics

After 4 months of flying the same grid pattern over a job site in Tacoma, the steel erector pulled me aside and said my battery of flights wasted his crew's time because they kept stopping work when the drone buzzed overhead. I switched to timing flights around their lunch break and using a higher altitude with a zoom lens, which cut their downtime complaints to zero. Does anyone else adjust their drone schedule based on trade feedback, or do you just stick to your own routine?

Four months of the same flight pattern and they only told you now? That's wild. Those guys must have been steaming about it for weeks. Good on you for actually listening though, most drone guys just treat the site like it's their own personal airspace. The lunch break timing trick is solid, that's the kind of common sense that saves everyone a headache.
