That stat about job site wifi failure rates blew my mind
I was reading through a report from the Construction Management Association last week and found out that nearly 40% of job sites still have zero reliable internet access for their field teams (like, no cell signal or wifi). That stat surprised me because we've been using ProjectSight on my current site in Austin and it's been smooth, but I guess we're the lucky ones. They also said those sites without connectivity see an average of 3 hours of wasted time per week per person just syncing data later. So if a crew of 10 is on a remote job for 6 months, that's like 3 weeks of lost labor literally just waiting for downloads. Has anyone here had to deal with really bad connectivity on a site, and what did you do to work around it?

Wait, is anyone actually tracking the concrete cost of those data sync hours against their project budget, or are we all just accepting it as a "cost of doing business" write-off?
