Found out 80% of clients judge a salon by the bathroom before they even sit in the chair
I read that stat in a trade magazine called Salon Today last month. It really surprised me because I always focus on the chairs and mirrors. Checked our bathroom after that and realized the lighting was awful and there were product stains on the counter. Anyone else ever pay attention to how your bathroom looks?

Did you read that article in Salon Today about how bathrooms set the tone for trust? I saw the same stat and it makes sense since people equate cleanliness with professionalism. Made me swap out my harsh bulbs for soft warm ones and it did help the overall vibe.

Soft lighting makes a huge difference, @clark.alex. Good call.

Soft lighting has its place for sure, but I actually went the other direction with my space. Brighter, cooler bulbs make the room feel more awake and clinical which for me builds more trust with clients. People walk in and see every corner clearly with no shadows, and that seems to signal "nothing hidden here." Different strokes for different vibes I guess, but have you tried a mix of both to see what your specific clientele responds to?
