Had a bride tell me I was "too heavy handed" with the setting spray yesterday

I've been doing wedding makeup for 6 years and nobody has ever said that to me. She wanted her makeup to last 12 hours without touch-ups but then complained about the extra layer. Has anyone else run into clients who want durability but don't like the texture needed to achieve it?

Honestly used to be on the bride's side about this til a friend let me try her pro setting spray and I got it. There's a real difference between blotchy heavy layers vs a proper mist that locks things in without the mask feel.

Well dang, I gotta ask... what was the spray that finally changed your mind about them? I've been burned by so many sprays that claim to be weightless but still leave that tacky film feeling. It's wild how one good product can flip your whole perspective on a whole category like that.
